Recycle Beyond the Bag

Freeman High School is holding a recycling drive through February 2026, and we’re excited to be part of it! Many items that aren’t normally recyclable are being collected and will be turned into decking material.

We’ve set up two collection points here at West Richmond, and we’re glad to have Hilltop Preschool and the Span Center’s Friendship Café #20 joining us in this effort.

Here’s the goal: if 1,000 pounds of these recyclables are collected by the deadline, Freeman will receive a Trex bench made from the recycled materials. So far, they’ve gathered 200 pounds—a great start, but there’s still a ways to go!
