Opportunities for Youth

The youth at West Richmond are essential to congregational life. They participate in worship, lead at least two worship services each year, have their own group, engage in numerous activities and some share in local scouting programs. Every four years many high school youth attend a National Youth Conference in Colorado. The denomination also offers a National Junior High Youth Conference for grades 6-8. Some go to Camp Bethel or attend work camps in various places. Each summer, through the Church of the Brethren Youth Ministry, we host a denominational Junior High Workcamp in the city of Richmond.
